Hi All. Havent blogged for a while.Totally bogged down with work & have been under the weather lately. I read an article a while ago about Fat people in Manchester City getting to redeem coupons when they loose their weights. I wish we had that here. Coupons for cleaning the house under 3 hours redeemable for 1 part time cleaner..
Now that's an idea:everytime your children clean their rooms you give them a coupon that they can redeem; a cone of icecream, a bar of chocs... that's bribery to some but to me that's bliss!

I saw Nigella Express last night & before that My Greek Kitchen. Now I wanna aspire to be like them;immaculately dressed to the nines & yet still deliver good home food [minus the messy kitchen] Do we have any sponsors out there?
There must be a role model out there who is a mixture of Nigella & Martha Stewart. BTW I cant recall any shows that potrays Shortcuts to Good Housekeeping. A have an idea for this;so if anybody that has a Producer friend,pl.drop me a note .
Tips: I found this microfibre dry mop that really works. It cleans up dirt, dust & grime superbly. Better than your traditional broom. It has made my life so much easier. I can sweep today & the floor feels so smooth 3 days later. The product can be found at any hypermarket;branded or otherwise. I bought mine at TESCO. Check it out.

Hi All! This week has been good. No disasters happening on the homefront. The house is spick & span. The children are following the schedule that I've done for them - so far!I call them my little Elves when they help me out.
Now that school holidays is coming up I'll be less rigid on my schedule; if not it's a mad rush every morning to get out of the house. I have a list for everything & on top of that a sub-list.It makes life easier as you compartmentalise your work in a given time. That's why I'm called the Corporate Housewife as I practise what I preach .
I've found ways to make housekeeping so much easier.Keep on reading to find out on these tips...

Hi All!Just starting my 1st blog after months of frustration in finding a solution/shortcuts to great housekeeping; more like a 101 in Housekeeping. Before I prattle on let me intoduce myself a bit more.
I've been married for more than 15 years & working about the same time. Ive had countless of maids[last one was 6 months ago!]. These maids come & go at a snap of a finger. The good ones never stay for long.
I've given up hope of ever finding the "perfect" maid.Anyone got any answers to this? We've all had ourshare of grouses I bet.
So in the end, I end up being the "perfect corporate housekeeper". From 8.30-5.30pm on weekdays, I go to work immaculately dressed to the nine. After 6pm & on weekends/holidays I turn into the " House keeper''- just like Cinderella at the stroke of midnight. BUT unlike Cinderella I still havent found my happy ending.
So I've created this blog to share with all of you in the same predicament or those who have ways of making life easier in house work.I would really die for a magic formula that will make the house stay superbly clean until the next maid comes. So come on read on & let me share with you my laughter, tears & tips towards being the Corporate Housewife.
